NS Web Studio is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification or speech recognition software.

Conformance status

This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Fully conformant” means the content meets all applicable success criteria at that level.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are the international standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and by accessibility legislation in most markets this studio works in.

What has been done

  • Keyboard navigation: every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a clearly visible focus indicator
  • Colour contrast: all text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 ratio required for body text, and 3:1 for large text
  • Semantic structure: headings run in order, landmarks are marked up correctly, lists are real lists and tables have proper header cells
  • Text alternatives: meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology
  • No JavaScript dependency: the navigation menu and FAQ accordions use native HTML elements, so they work without scripts and are accessible by default
  • Reduced motion: animation and transitions are disabled for visitors whose system requests reduced motion
  • Resizable text: content remains usable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
  • Skip link: a skip-to-content link is the first focusable element on every page

How this was tested

Assessed by NS Web Studio on August 10, 2026 using a combination of automated and manual methods:

  • Automated testing with axe DevTools and Google Lighthouse
  • Manual keyboard-only navigation of every page
  • Colour contrast verified by calculation, not by eye
  • Structural review of headings, landmarks and form labels
  • Testing at 200% and 400% zoom

Automated tools catch a minority of accessibility problems. The manual testing is where most issues are actually found, which is why it’s listed here rather than assumed.
