What the Launch package is

Launch is a one-page website design package from NS Web Studio, priced at a fixed €1,200 and delivered in five to seven working days. It covers custom design, conversion copywriting for the whole page, a contact form, technical SEO, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, and your domain, hosting and SSL for the first year. It is built for solo professionals and one-service businesses — consultants, therapists, photographers, trades, independent practitioners — who need one page that earns trust and produces enquiries, rather than a multi-page site they will never update.

Fit check

Launch is right for you if…

This sounds like your situation

  • You sell one main service, and explaining it doesn’t need five pages
  • People find you through referrals and Instagram, and you need somewhere credible to send them
  • You’ve been getting by with a Linktree or a Facebook page and it’s starting to look it
  • You want something that works now and doesn’t become a chore
  • Your budget is real but finite, and you’d rather one page done properly than six done cheaply

Choose something else if…

  • You need a blog. Content marketing needs room to grow — that’s Business
  • You have several services that each deserve their own page and their own search term
  • You sell products online — you want Commerce
  • Ranking on Google is your main goal. One page can only target one thing — see Growth

If you’re between Launch and Business, say so in the brief. I’d rather talk you down to the cheaper one and be right than take the bigger fee and watch you regret it in three months. It has happened both ways and I’ve been wrong in both directions, which is why I ask.

The full list

Everything in the €1,200

No tiers within tiers, no “premium” version of the same thing. This is the whole package.

What you get

Design

  • Custom design, drawn for your business, not a theme with your logo dropped in
  • Six sections: hero, what you do, why you, proof, FAQ, contact
  • Mobile-first, built on a phone screen before a desktop one
  • Two revision rounds on the design before I build anything

Words

  • Copywriting for the whole page, written by me from your brief
  • Headlines that name your customer’s problem, not your company history
  • An FAQ block answering what people actually ask before hiring you

Build & technical

  • Hand-coded WordPress, no page builder bloat
  • Core Web Vitals optimised — the target is a sub-second load
  • WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, checked by keyboard and by tool
  • Technical SEO: titles, meta, sitemap, schema, Search Console
  • Contact form with spam protection, plus Google Maps if you have premises
  • Google Analytics or cookieless analytics, your choice

Handover

  • Domain, hosting and SSL for the first year
  • Full admin access — every account, every password
  • A written guide to updating the page yourself
  • 30 days to report anything that isn’t working, fixed free

Not included — so nobody is surprised

  • Photography. I’ll tell you exactly what shots the design needs and what size
  • Logo design. Available separately from €550
  • A second language. €600 per language, done properly with hreflang
  • Blog setup. Not part of a one-page site by definition
  • Ongoing maintenance. Optional, from €190 a month, never required
  • Paid ads or social media. I don’t do these at all, for anyone

Everything above is a real cost somewhere. I’d rather you see it here than find it in an invoice.

What changes

What this actually does for your business

A website isn’t an achievement. It’s a tool, and it should be measurable.

<1s

People stop leaving before it loads

Most small business sites take three to six seconds on mobile. A large share of visitors give up before that finishes. Yours will be built to load in under a second, which means the people who clicked actually arrive.

1 job

The page asks for the enquiry

Most one-page sites describe a business and then stop. Yours will have a single clear action, repeated at the points where someone has just been given a reason to trust you, which is the moment they’ll act.

100%

You own it outright

No monthly platform fee, no licence tied to me, nothing that stops working if we never speak again. The domain, the hosting account, the code and the content are all in your name from day one.

Day by day

What happens across those seven days

  1. Day 0

    Brief and deposit

You send the project form, I send a written proposal within 24 hours. You sign it and pay 50%. I send you an exact list of the text and photos I need. The clock doesn’t start until those are with me — that’s how the timeline stays honest.

  2. Days 1–2

    Design

I design the full page and send it as an annotated preview. You click the parts you want changed and type what’s wrong, whenever suits you. No meeting, no screen-share, no describing a button out loud.

  3. Day 3

    Revisions

Your feedback goes in. If there’s a second round it happens here. Most Launch projects use one round, because the brief did the heavy lifting.

  4. Days 4–5

    Build

Hand-coded on a staging link you can watch. Tested on real phones, not just a browser window resized. Accessibility and speed checked as I go rather than bolted on at the end.

  5. Days 6–7

    Launch and handover

Final 50% is due, the page goes live on your domain. You get admin access, a written guide to updating it, and 30 days to tell me about anything that isn’t right. After that it’s entirely yours.

Optional

Things Launch doesn’t include, if you want them

Only what’s genuinely missing from this package. Add any of these to the brief and they’ll be quoted in the same proposal, at the same fixed prices.

A typographic logo, three concepts, two revision rounds, every file format, full rights transferred to you in writing.

Worth it if: your current logo was made in Canva and you can feel it.

Symbol and wordmark, colour palette, typography and a written guidelines document. Designed by our brand designer, who holds a master’s in graphic design.

Worth it if: you’re starting from nothing and the brand needs to work on a van and a business card too.

Localised content, hreflang, per-language URLs and per-language SEO. Not a translate plugin bolted on top.

Worth it if: you genuinely serve two language markets, not if you merely might one day.

One extra page written from scratch and optimised for a specific search term you want to rank for.

Worth it if: there’s one term your customers search that the main page can’t naturally target.

Answer-first content blocks, entity and organisation schema, and a baseline of where you currently appear when people ask AI assistants for recommendations.

Worth it if: your customers are the kind who now ask ChatGPT before they ask Google.

Care plan

€190/mo

Managed hosting, updates, daily backups, security monitoring and an hour of content changes every month.

Skip it if: you’re comfortable running WordPress updates yourself. Plenty of clients are.

Questions

What people ask about Launch

Is a one-page website bad for SEO?

It’s limited, not bad. A single page can realistically target one main search term and a handful of closely related ones, and it can rank well for those. What it can’t do is cover several different services that people search for separately, because each of those needs its own page with its own title and its own focus. If search is your main channel, Launch is the wrong size and I’ll tell you so before you pay. If your customers come from referrals, social media or word of mouth, one page is genuinely enough.

Can I add more pages later?

Yes, and it’s built to allow that. It’s a real WordPress site, not a locked template, so pages can be added whenever you want. If you’d like me to do it, additional pages are €450 each including the copywriting. If you end up wanting five more within a few months, you’d have been better off starting with Business — which is exactly why the fit check above exists.

What if I don’t have any text or photos?

The copywriting is included, so the text isn’t your problem — I write the whole page from your brief. Photos are different. I’ll send you a specific shot list with sizes and framing, and for many businesses a phone camera in good daylight is genuinely fine. If you have nothing usable at all, I’ll suggest licensed stock that doesn’t look like stock, or a design direction that leans on typography instead of imagery.

What happens after the first year of hosting?

You renew it yourself, directly with the provider, in your own account. It’s usually somewhere between €120 and €250 a year for domain and hosting together, depending on your traffic. I don’t mark it up and I don’t hold it hostage. If you’d rather I handled renewals along with updates and backups, that’s the Care plan, but it’s optional and always will be.

Seven days sounds too fast. Is it rushed?

It’s fast because of what isn’t happening. There’s no account manager relaying your feedback to a designer, no designer handing files to a developer, no waiting for three people’s calendars to align. One person does all of it, and the brief is thorough enough that I’m not guessing. The seven days are working days and they start once your content is with me, so the number is real rather than optimistic.

Do you build in WordPress even for a single page?

Yes, and the reason is ownership. A one-pager built on a hosted builder means a monthly fee forever and markup you can’t fully control — which is what stops a site reaching a perfect performance score. WordPress is open source, so nobody can raise your rent or move a feature you rely on behind a paywall. It also means the page can grow into a full site later without being rebuilt from scratch. If you want to understand why load speed matters this much, Google’s own Core Web Vitals documentation explains the thresholds every build here is measured against.

Ready, or still deciding?

Either is fine. The project form takes about ten minutes and you’ll have a written proposal with a fixed price within one business day. If Launch turns out to be the wrong size for what you described, I’ll say so in that proposal rather than after you’ve paid.
